New year is here and almost everyone starts something new. I'm
not any exception, so I've started new projects (which I will
publish the moment they're ready) and two big overhauls:
1. I completely change the way Pathway is broadcast to you. To
publish an ezine of this size is not so rosy as it may seem and I
believe that this change will improve the delivery. Many of you
write that you don't get Pathway regularly as you should, so it
should be fixed fast.
Also, you can read Pathway in many places without any subscription
BUT if you want to be notified when a new Issue is out you should
subscribe in the respective place.
And, I will quite heavily clean the list of the inactive subscribers
which will make Pathway a more interactive community.
Finally, all of the above will greatly improve performance, so you
can profit from Pathway on a larger scale.
2. I'm changing my website structure, so the content is accessible
for you much easier: there are over 15,000 pages of valuable
content, tools, resources, products and services vital for any home
business profits and tens of thousands of related external guide,
tool and service links but it's quite difficult to keep it all
up-to-date and it's not easy to find. This change will improve
this as well.

How Much Do You Plan to Earn In 2007?

Did you ask this question and have your answer for this year?
I know it looks a bit too traditional to force you into a new
year resolution.
But it's an obvious truth that most people don't rush into changes
and into action. They look for 'a reason' so long that they never
change and continue along their paths leading to nowhere.
I'm sure you want to be different, so I am here to give you the
reason to change what you're doing into something more profitable
- a more profitable year.
Since you are on the Internet, I assume that you seriously look
for ways to create a dependable online income. I firmly believe
that you are aware of the reality that the responsibility is
yours. It's you capable of deciding how much you want to make,
how much it is you need to be able to live the lifestyle you
imagine.
Take it this way: -> It's time to stop working from home for nothing!
You must be able to make so much that even if you don't work at all,
you will still make money, and not only some money but the amount
you wish.
If you are used to having someone deciding on how much you will
earn and not fully able to decide for yourself, take this new year
as the opportunity or 'the reason' to change it.
Start with the easiest items:
1.
Make a pricelist of items that make the lifestyle you want.
2.
Sum up the prices: that's the amount you have to earn in 2007.
3.
Divide by 11 months, by 5 days and by the number of hours you
want to work - this is the amount you must earn an hour (until
you find a way to earn even when you don't work).
4.
Now look at your cashflow:
first,
the income streams you already have: sum it and
examine their earning possibilities for the future.
second,
the expenses: stay with these a bit longer. Examine
the individual items and see where and how you can cut it and
do it at once (- not tomorrow!). Systematically watch where
your money goes. You can use your computer or a ledger.
third,
examine all your income possibilities you now have:
evaluate them, compare with the amount you need in 2007, look
for new ones, evaluate, compare and start focusing on the most
profitable ones.
fourth,
start simply doing what is necessary. At once. Not
tomorrow!
fifth,
don't forget to evaluate, compare, modify, test and see how
near your goal you are AND don't forget to reward yourself
for your achievements along the path. And, let me know!
All the above is pretty easy.
Now, let's examine the situation: If you've done all the above
and feel all excited that you will finally achieve all you've always
dreamed of, I bet you will by the end of 2007, and I am all keen
on receiving your message when you do!
BUT if you've done it all the above and don't feel any excitment
that you finally have a way to get what you always imagined, then,
you are in problem.
It is a motivation problem, you can feel frustration or have
negative thoughts, especially, if you are one of the many people
who lost or almost lost their illusions about the Internet.
However, you should be aware of the simple fact that you can be
your most severe enemy if you think negatively. No matter how hard
you work, you will not achieve anything if you think negatively.
It's not important whether you believe me or not, it simply works
this way.
I have a quick advice how to start positive thinking: spare 15
minutes, an hour, or even a day - any time you need, and think
about all you really want, (or ever wanted if you feel you don't
want anything at the moment), about what you are willing to do to
get it, make notes, read a book about money power, I'm giving you
free below, create your motivational prayer, reminders to keep
you motivated every single day and say this:
This year - 2007, is my lucky year, its figure ends in a 7,
it's here for my success I deserve!
And, Start to act accordingly. At once!
P.S.: Don't forget: either you can achieve what you've always
wanted or continue doing what you always did and get nowhere near
your goals. You must do something in any case, so why not doing
what gets you to your dreamed lifestyle - it's not got to necesarily
be perfect, just get it going. The choice is yours, only yours!

Our road to success begins with a fundamental question: Where
are we going? Funny thing is, most of us don't really know.
Thinking back to where I began, I am reminded of a popular
saying: "most people don't plan to fail, they fail to plan". I
became a wandering generality and I wasn't even sure how that
happened until many years later.
Having a purpose, or knowing your "why" is the starting point of
all achievement. The lack of a major purpose is the stumbling
block for 98 out of every100 people simply because they never
defined their goals and started toward them. Without clearly
defined goals, we lose focus and obstacles soon appear.
Your goal must be more than a wish, it must be a burning desire.
Only by finding your own burning desire will you achieve success.
Everyone wants the better things in life, money, recognition,
respect, and friends. But most people never go beyond just
wishing for them.
If you know what you want from life, pursue it with a passion,
continuous effort and sound planning. This will give you focus,
you will have awakened the purpose, the why, inside you.
Friedrich Nietzsche puts it into perspective this way: For a
person who has a why to live for, they can bear almost any how.
As soon as we gain a clear understanding of the awesome power
that this brings, from that point forward, you will be on a
mission.
When you know where you're going, it allows you to be aware of
the opportunities around you and inspires you to have the
courage to act on them. People are judged not by what they begin,
but by what they finish.
Millions of people are struggling to achieve simple goals. This
is because their highest aim is only to be in their current
situation. They are drowning in mediocrity because of the
limitations they placed in their own minds. Although we don't
like to admit it, even to ourselves, this may have happened to
some of us. Open your mind, step out of your comfort zone and
realize that you are worthy of your dreams and visions. Success
is a worthy goal.
Many people never recognize the difference between wishing and
believing. Setting realistic goals and committing yourself to
them will allow you to accomplish things you once only wished
for.
Ralph Waldo Emerson made a profound statement that we can apply
to ourselves:
Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to
tell you that you are wrong, there are always difficulties
arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right.
To map out a course of action and to follow it to an end
requires courage.
It takes courage to put your dreams & goals in writing and tell
someone about it. Goals are worthless unless we are held
accountable for our commitments. For many, making our goals
known would mean setting yourself up for criticism and
embarrassment if you were to fail. But we know there is only
failure in not trying.
The outstanding leaders in every walk of recognize the power of
their own minds-seize it and take action. The word "Impossible"
has no meaning to them. They turn all unpleasant circumstances
into opportunities for positive action.
Take action and make up your mind to be in the top 2% of all
high achievers!
Write down your dreams and goals and pursue them with a passion.

6 Surefire Ways To Squeeze Maximum Sales From Your Website

I would venture to say that not a single website in the world
has reached its peak of effectiveness or earnings potential.
No matter the circumstances, every site can better its best.
If a "magic" formula for website success existed, you'd see
the big boys like Google and Yahoo using it.
Since no formula exists, they constantly test and tweak for new
ways to squeeze more money from their sites, and you should too.
If you operate a website and want to squeeze maximum revenue
from it, the following 6 tips will kick-start your efforts.
#1 - Test Headlines
Just like a newspaper headline, the headline on your website
represents the single most powerful factor in grabbing a reader's
eye and pulling them into your site.
Most websites do not have a headline or, if they do, it's limp,
wimpy, and carries zero "punch."
Every website should carry a compelling headline to let visitors
know exactly what they should expect to get from the site.
I've personally seen one headline outperform another by 400%
on the exact same website.
#2 - Offer Payment Plan
Why do you think pitchmen on TV offer "3-easy payments" of only
$19.95 on a $60 product?
Because the technique works for increasing sales!
Often, people either don't want to or can't come up with the
payment all at once, but can pay over time.
If you sell a product priced at $100 or more, try breaking
the price up into smaller payments to increase sales.
#3 - Test Guarantee Period
Like it or not, people don't always trust promises on your website
to live up to the realities of your product.
To remove risk for the customer, you should offer a refund or
money-back guarantee (not offering one will, in most cases, kill
your conversion rate).
However, it's been said by "experts" that the longer the guarantee
period, the lower the refund rate.
My experience does not support that advice. I suggest you test
various refund periods to see which nets you the most sales
balanced against the least refunds.
#4 - Test Audio Instructions
One of the best ways to increase sales is to include an audio
button on your site that tells people exactly what to do in
order to buy or subscribe.
Telling people in no uncertain terms to "Enter your name and
primary email address in the box and click the button" has proven
one of the most effective means of getting website visitors to take
the actions you want.
#5 - Follow Up
Most online businesses totally blow it when it comes to follow-up,
especially with existing customers.
Follow up with your customers at least once or twice a month and
it will amaze you how easily you can make "back-end" and repeat
sales.
Industry news, tips-and-tricks, and helpful hints combined
with a low-key, specific offer for another product or service
makes an excellent follow-up formula for both prospects and
existing customers.
#6 - Start a Blog
A blog makes it extremely easy to keep your customers and prospects
updated, as well as providing a dynamic means for new people
to find you through the search engines and blog directories.
Blogger.com allows you to start a blog even if you don't operate
a website, and WordPress.org makes it easy to add a blog to your
existing website.
